Support emails

Your email address, your message and anything you send with it, such as screenshots: deleted within 30 days of your query being resolved. We keep them longer only if they're needed for a complaint or claim, and only until it's settled.

Information about students or health

If a message includes information about your students, or about anyone's health, we delete it as soon as we notice it.

Data protection complaints

A record of each complaint, what we did and the outcome: kept for 12 months after it's closed.

Beta testing (TestFlight)

Feedback, screenshots and comments testers send: deleted within 30 days of being dealt with.

Testers' names and email addresses: kept until they leave testing, or the test ends.

Usage data (Google Analytics for Firebase)

If you agree to share it: kept for 2 months, then deleted by Google. For people in the UK, Google uses your IP address only to work out your approximate location, then discards it.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If you agree to share them: kept for 90 days, then deleted by Google.

Performance data (Firebase Performance Monitoring)

If you agree to share it: anything linked to an IP address is kept for 30 days, and the rest for 60 days, then deleted by Google.

App installation identifier (Firebase)

The random identifier for each installation of the app, used with the data above: kept until you ask us to delete it, then removed by Google within 180 days.

App Store ratings and reviews

Kept by Apple for as long as they're on the App Store.

This website

Google's Firebase Hosting, which serves this website, keeps your IP address and browser details in its logs for a few months. We don't look at them.

Information on your iPhone

Your students, lessons, payments and settings are kept only on your iPhone, for as long as you keep the app. We never have a copy.
